Mission

My Sister's Keeper was founded in 2005 by a group of women who believed it was their responsibility and destiny to make a difference in their community. These women came from many different backgrounds and had many different life experiences which helped to make the mission and vision of My Sister's Keeper diverse and far reaching.

My Sister's Keeper National Chapter, Inc., is a non-profit organization that encourages high moral and ethical standards, promotes unity and friendship among women and children and works to alleviate and improve problems concerning underprivileged individuals, families, and schools by providing training; education, shelter and material assistance in the Maryland, District of Columbia and Virginia areas.

Candidacy for membership into My Sister's Keeper is open to all women of high ethical and moral standards who would like to part take in the uplifting of others while promoting self awareness and commitment to excellence.
